Understanding Your Credit Score: Connex Credit Union Hosts Free Credit Score Workshop September 12

Connex Credit Union, a North Haven-based credit union with branches throughout greater New Haven, hosts a series of free financial education workshops throughout the year. The workshops are designed to help educate consumers on financial topics and how to set and achieve financial goals.

 

The next workshop is entitled “Understanding Your Credit Score.” Experts from credit reporting agency, Experian, will lead the workshop. This workshop will go over the credit reporting process including what a credit score is, how it is calculated and much more.

The workshop will take place Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Connex North Haven branch. The branch is located at 412 Washington Avenue in North Haven. Anyone interested in attending must call 1-800-CR-UNION (1-800-278-6466) to register. The workshop is open to members and non-members of the credit union.
