Volunteer opportunities at the Habitat ReStore

The Habitat ReStore, located at 286 South Colony Road, Wallingford, is thriving, and we are looking for additional volunteers. The ReStore sells gently used furniture, cabinets, lighting, appliances, tools, etc. and the money raised is used to build Habitat homes in New Haven.  This is a great opportunity for retirees, high school students (16 and older), college students, folks who are between jobs or who need to perform community service, stay-at-home moms, and many others! The shifts are flexible, and volunteers can sign up for one day or make a regular or semi-regular commitment. The work includes customer service, store display and organization, researching and pricing items, coordinating donation drop offs, and more.

Current opportunities are:

Tuesday-Saturday—all day (10am-4pm with a short lunch break); AM shift (10am-1pm); PM shift (1pm-4pm)
