Big Brothers Big Sisters Community Tag Sale Coming Soon

It's almost here - the 2nd Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Community Tag Sale and Flea Market. The 2013 date is Saturday, June 8 from 10am to 5pm at 277 State Street, North Haven. There is a rain date scheduled for June 15. 

The event features more than 30 local vendors selling household goods, jewelry, clothing and more. 

"The idea came up last year as part of Grand Opening, it went over so well that many people wanted us to do it every weekend. We decided on making it an annual event," said Ken Kuntz, Operations Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
"We hope people will come out to support their neighbors and get to know us. Tag sales are stronger when there is multiple people involved. We want all involved to do well and enjoy the day here," added Kuntz. 

"When it's over, folks can load up what didn't sell or donate it! People coming by can help out by bringing a couple bags of clothing that they can no longer use and as a "thank you" receive a voucher for a Free JRoos pizza. Community and family are very important to Big Brothers Big Sisters of SWCT. We want to be a neighbor, an active participant here in North Haven," he added.

The day will include entertainment by "Bob's Fault," food concessions, give-aways, and lots more.
