Veteran's Day Ceremony at UNH

• • The University of New Haven (UNH) will host a Veterans Day ceremony featuring keynote speaker Joseph Danao '04, president of the UNH Alumni Association. Danao recently returned from assignment with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Afghanistan Engineer District North as Kabul area officer in charge, where he was responsible for executing construction projects throughout Kabul Province, Afghanistan. 

The ceremony also will feature a wreath laying, singing of the United States national anthem, the playing of taps and a presentation of colors by the UNH Reserve Officers' Training Corps. Remarks will be made by UNH President Steven Kaplan, Henry C. Lee College Dean Richard Ward, and Commander of the Military Veterans of UNH Matthew Branka. 

The event is free and open to the public.
