North Haven will be hosting its 18th annual fishing derby at Sinoway Pond on April 30.
The event will be open to children ages three to fifteen, with all participants under twelve requiring the accompaniment of a parent or guardian.
A host of prizes and awards will be given out for a variety of achievements, from catching the most fish, to snagging tagged specimens, to participating in a derby-wide raffle.

Pre-regstration is required, as space will be limited to 300 fishers. Town residents can register for free, but non-residents must pay a fee of $10 to sign up for the event.
