Fun for All Ages at North Haven Safety Day
North Haven Police and Fire teamed up in an educational and fun-for-all-ages Safety Day to showcase their departments and show off their specialized skills and high-tech vehicles
Saturday’s Safety Day in North Haven was the ultimate in cool for kids of all ages—whether they were eight or forty-eight!
North Haven police and firefighters created an educational and fun day with hands-on activities and fun for the kids, lots of specialized vehicles, photo ops, tours of the fire department and NHPD buildings, vehicle tours and plenty of food and drink.
The day also included numerous demonstrations. The North Haven Fire Department demo featured a real training session that involved volunteer recruits who climbed the 107-foot aerial ladder truck as part of their intensive training program.
