Looking for a Home

Here's a list of dogs in Hamden, North Haven and Hartford who are waiting for a place to call home.

While dozens of people have stepped up to adopt Princess, the eight-month-old pit mix who was stabbed 29 times by her owner, only one will ultimately end up taking her home.

Why not adopt a homeless dog in her honor? Here's several dogs at the Hamden Animal Shelter and the North Haven Animal Shelter, as well as dogs from the Hartford Animal Shelter who will be killed by the end of this week if not adopted.

Hamden and North Haven shelter dogs are located at the North Haven Animal Shelter. Hartford Animal Shelter dogs are housed in Bloomfield at 120 Rescue Lane, a short drive from Hamden.
