Pet Calendar Contest to Benefit MADD

It's not to late to benefit your local Mothers Against Drunk Driving chapter! Enter the pet calendar contest on Friday, March 30 to support MADD for just $25, which includes pet photo session and entry into contest at Storytellers Photography in North Haven.

Birds & The Boyz Play J Roos

As always, J.Roo's Restaurant and Bar is serving up dinner and a show on State Street in North Haven. Birds & The Boyz will be playing at 9 p.m. on Friday. You'll have to pay for the drinks, but the show is free! 

Forrest Yoga

Clear your mind and do your body good this Saturday morning. Enjoy a free yoga session at the on March 31 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. 

Montowese Baptist Church Eggstravaganza

Along with food, drinks, games, prizes and a plant sale, there will be an egg decorating contest at this year's "Eggstravaganza" at the Montowese Baptist Church on Saturday, March 31. The first place prize in the egg decorating contest, which carries a deadline of 11 a.m., is $50! This free event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Art Exhibit on East and West Rock

If you did not get a chance to check out the outdoor art exhibit at East and West Rock next door in New Haven, fret not! The exhibit, which is featuring many paintings and works from the New Haven Museum’s collection and geological objects from the Peabody Museum and Wesleyan University, runs through May. Viewings of the exhibit on Sunday, April 1 are FREE and from 1 to 4 p.m.
