Local Animal Shelter Is 'Overcrowded'

The New Haven Animal Shelter has run out of room to house furry friends, so come by their adoption event on Saturday!

WTNH is reporting that the shelter is "overwhelmed" and "overcrowded" due to an influx of recent drop-offs.

If you have some space in your home and could use a new furry companion, be sure to come to the shelter's adoption event this weekend!

According to the article, the shelter's pet adoption event will be held on Saturday, July 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the shelter, located at 81 Fournier Street in New Haven.
