Freda: Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Applications Now Available

The state provides tax credits for businesses that sponsor certain local programs. Find out if your North Haven business qualifies for the tax break.

The following is a press release from the North Haven First Selectman's Office.

Applications for the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program for 2013 are available in the First Selectman’s office or online at the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services www.ct.gov/DRS

The State provides tax credits for business entities which sponsor approved local programs.

The programs, which must be proposed and conducted by private non-profit agencies or municipalities, must be approved by the municipality in which they are to be carried out and by the State of Connecticut. 

If your organization is interested in participating in the program, please complete the application and submit to the First Selectman’s Office, Town of North Haven, 18 Church Street, North Haven, CT 06473 by close of business May 24, 2013.
