Queralt Inc. V.P. Headed to the White House

Howard Kaplan, the vice president of product development at North Haven-based Queralt Inc., will be attending the Smart America Challenge at the White House on Thursday, Dec. 12.

The Smart America Challenge, according to a news release, "will bring together  organizations with cyber-physical systems (CPS) technology, programs and test beds to demonstrate the transformational potential to improve safety, security, sustainability, efficiency, mobility, and overall quality of life."

Queralt develops "platform-enabling, next-generation 'smart solutions' across industries." Kaplan will be part of a group of industry leaders that will collaborate and share ideas about revolutionizing transportation, energy, manufacturing and health care.
