Come Visit Herbie at the Animal Haven!

Herbie is a wonderful, adoptable cat at the Animal Haven

Herbie is a 9 month old domestic medium haired cat.  He has soft, gorgeous, gray fur.  He was brought to us at about 4 months.  He had no apparent physical issues, but was a little shy and skittish.  One day Herbie appeared to be going into seizures, and was hospitalized immediately.

Although no precise diagnosis has been labeled, and since exams appear otherwise normal, he has been labeled as having Vestibular Cerebellar Disease.  Herbie is a wonderful affectionate cat who loves to hug!! The only physical handicap he has is that he wobbles his head.  He appears to be comfortable, not in any pain, eats, drinks, and uses his litter box like any other cat.

The doctor has recommended a neurology exam and a possible CT scan.  Although this can be very costly, Animal Haven is putting together a fundraiser.  Herbie loves to play and loves people!! He loves other cats, but sometimes they get a little nervous around him.  He needs a family to give him unconditional love who will provide him with much affection regardless of his special needs.
