Latest Winter Storm Expected to Just Graze North Haven Overnight

The National Weather Service is calling for just a dusting of snow to fall on North Haven overnight.

Just as some school districts are trying to reopen after this past weekend's blizzard that dumped 2-3 feet of snow on the state — including North Haven — another winter storm is heading our way.

This latest system, however, is expected to move out to sea south of the state and bring just a dusting to an inch of snow or less to this part of state, and about 2 inches to the southern shoreline areas, according to the National Weather Service.

The system may start out as rain around 11 p.m., before changing over to snow after midnight.

The remnants of the storm will clear out by afternoon on Thursday and it will turn sunny, with light winds and high temperatures in the lower 40s.
