North Haven Christmas Tree Lighting Scheduled

Ceremony will take place on the Town Green, Sunday, December 4.

North Haven's annual tree lighting ceremony will take place Sunday, December 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Town Green. 

Beginning with a photo op with Santa at the Recreation Center on Linsley Street at 2:00 p.m., the festivities will move to the Green at 4:00 p.m. for the lighting. 

On site, visitors can check out holiday caroling from the North Haven High School Choir, hayrides, and an assortment of refreshments including hot chocolate and decorate-your-own cookies.

The lighting is sponsored by the Department of Community Services and Recreation, with the help of contributions from the McDonald's on Washington Avenue, Minotti Music, Stop and Shop, Father Donaher K of C, and Coldwell Banker.

In the event of rain, the celebration will be moved to Monday, December 5.

Santa's Workshop will continue to run through Wednesday, with engagements on Monday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
