North Haven Police Warn of 'Suspicious Activity' in Northeast Area of Town

Two white males are reportedly working together in a distraction scam: one distracts the homeowner while the other attempts to enter the home and remove personal property, according to North Haven Police.

The following is a press release from the North Haven Police Department.

On February 12, 2013 between the hours of 12PM-6PM, the North Haven Police Department received reports of suspicious activity in the Northeast area of town involving two males approaching homeowners regarding pending work in the immediate area of their respective homes.

The two white males, appearing to be in their twenties, worked in tandem in attempts to distract homeowners.

One male would approach the homeowner and distract them, while the second would enter the home and remove personal property without the homeowners knowledge or permission.

The two subjects were reported to be operating newer/clean pick up trucks.   Additional information can be forwarded to Lt. Stanley Lofquist at 203-239-5321, ext. 227.
