Over a Thousand Outages in North Haven

UI reporting 1,427 outages in town as of 1:40 p.m.

Following last night's Nor'easter, 1,427 customers remain without power in North Haven according to UI. 

That number is slightly down from last night, where close to 2,000 residences saw electricity knocked out.

Residents report numerous downed trees and power lines around town, including blockages on Garfield and Buell.

The total snowfall for North Haven came in at around seven inches. 

Statewide, outages surpassed the number set in August by Tropical Storm Irene.
