The National Weather service has put a Flood Advisory and a Flood Watch into effect for the region, warning that melting snowpacks could send large quantities of water spilling onto roads and underpasses.

Further exacerbating the situation are an additional 1-2 inches of rainfall still on the ground from last Friday's storm, and ice jams created in the mild weather of the past two weeks.
