Ribbon Cut on Renovated Clintonville Playground

Playground re-opens nearly a year after construction grant awarded.

Nearly a year after members of Clintonville Elementary's PTA secured a Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grant to rebuild the school's playground, a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the project's completion was held today at 10:00 a.m.

The original playground had poor drainage and aging structures, making it unusable in certain weather conditions.

Now, after spending $188,000 in STEAP money on the renovation, parents are hoping the new "Paradis Playground" will go a long way towards improving the quality of recess for Clintonville's children.
