What's Going on in North Haven this Week

Your guide to goings on in town for the week of 5/29

1. Several town government events this week. There will be a public hearing and a special town meeting this Tuesday starting at 6:45 p.m. in the library's Community Room. On the agenda will be a program submitted by the Lancraft Fife and Drum Corps. A copy of the petition will be made available on the site tomorrow prior to the meeting. On Thursday, the Board of Selectmen will convene for its June meeting. North Haven Patch will be covering both events.

2. The Friends of the Library group will meet Wednesday, June 1 at the library for their monthly session. The meeting is open to all interested parties.

3. Varsity Boys Golf will compete Tuesday in the SCC Tournament in Orange, CT. Play starts at 8:00 a.m.

4. Showers and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow and Wednesday, with high temperatures remaining in the 80s through to the weekend. Evenings will be cooler, dipping into the high 50s.
