Widespread Power Outages Hit North Haven
United Illuminating puts number of houses without power in North Haven at over 500.
Fierce storms have knocked out power all over the region, including an estimated 507 homes in North Haven as of 6:40 p.m.
Out of 11,418 homes served in North Haven, the UI reports that 4.44% are currently without power. No word has yet been given on a restoration schedule.
Of neighboring towns, Shelton has been hit the worst. Over 3,000 customers are currently without service, or about 20% of the town.
