Wind and Snow Coming Our Way

Wind speeds could reach as high as 47 mph tonight.

Wind, snow, ice...yup, it's still winter.

Despite the mercifully warm weather during the past week, the National Weather Service reports a 30% chance of snow this afternoon, and wind gusts tonight are expected to reach as high as 47 mph.

A Wind Advisory has been issued for New York City, Long Island, northeastern New Jersey, the lower Hudson Valley, and southern Connecticut, warning that fierce gusts could knock over trees and power lines, as well as make driving difficult for high-profile vehicles like vans and trucks.
