Trailblazer and Denali Hiker Series: Sleeping Giant State Park

Part II of our Fall Come Hike With Us Series will be at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden on Sunday, October 6th. The theme will be First Aid on the Trail.

First Aid on the Trail
Whether you’re out on a day hike or a 3 week long expedition it is always worth being prepared and having some first aid knowledge in your pocket. We will enjoy a challenging hike up the head of the Giant up to the tower at the top where we will then have a discussion led by Wilderness First Responder Rebecca Brooks about how to make sure you are ready for the unexpected.

Where: Various Trails at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden, CT- Meet at main entrance – Look for Denali/Trailblazer sign
