Friday Night Community Supper at St. John's

The Friday Night Community Suppers at St. John's Church Great Hall are continuing through 2011. The suppers are open to the public and are for individuals and families in the area who want an affordable, nutritious meal. They are held every Friday night from 6-7.

For $1 (max of $5 per family) patrons enjoy a delicious sandwich, satisfying warm soup, fruit, a healthy dessert, coffee, tea, and juice.

The Rev. Matthew Lincoln, rector of St. John's says, "As a way to assist our neighbors in these economically uncertainly times, St. John's is committed to offering these suppers. Since we began, we have had families with small children, adults from the North Haven Senior Center and others from the area attend. We hope that anyone from the community will feel welcome to join us on Friday nights for food and fellowship."
