North Haven Summer Day Camp at the Rec Center

The Town of North Haven, Department of Community Services and Recreation's Summer Day Camp!

Summer at the Recreation Center is busy & fun-filled!  One of the many activities that the Recreation Department offers is DAY CAMP!  Day Camp is for children ages 6 – 12.  Residents and non-residents are eligible for this program. 

Day Camp is an integrated, structured program with activities that revolve around a weekly theme and includes entertainment, arts and crafts, and outdoor fun.  Also included are three swims per week at the Walter J. Gawrych Community Pool.  Theme weeks will include: Sports Week, Fitness Week, Talent Week, Nature Week, Wacky Weather Week, Animal Week.  These themes are subject to change.   A camp T-shirt will be given to each child each week. Children will receive a maximum of 2 T-shirts for the summer.  Each child must be signed in and out by a parent daily. Children 5½ years of age who have completed kindergarten may register.   Proof of completion of kindergarten must be shown.

Times: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (PROMPT PICK UP IS A MUST)

Week I:   July 2 – July 6 (NO CAMP ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 4)

Week II - Monday – Friday, July 9 – July 13

Week III:  Monday – Friday, July 16 – July 20

Week IV:  Monday – Friday, July 23 – July 27

Week V:   Monday – Friday, July 30 – August 3

Week VI:   Monday – Friday, August 6 – August 10

 

Week I is $120.00 per resident, $130.00 per non-resident

Weeks II – VI are $150.00 per week per resident, $160.00 per week per non-resident
