Lynn, clearly the people that wrote the first two comments have no clue what Matt's Mission is about or how much it has contributed to our town, perhaps they should come visit on race day and see that it is so much more than a race. I suspect they won't though I have a feeling that they don't live in town. Please do not ask Jenn to take your blog down, if anything needs to be removed its the comments of hate hiding behind the bible quotes.

Lynn, Please, keep up the good work for the sake of ALL children & their parents. You have opened up doors that no other parent has opened for dialogue with the young driving population. Those "nay" sayers my have read the bible, but not absorbed a thing............Passage........"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".........They are sinners by virtue of their own posts, but just aren't smart enough to realize it!!! So please continue on with the mission, albeit the pain that goes with it at times..........the message, "catching air, joy riding, double dare while driving", are all deadly choices and you are brave enough to open the eyes of others!!! Some people simply do not think before they type or even when they speak. Lynn your work is invaluable and a huge reminder that we all need to work to keep our kids safe. I still have the bracelet from the first Matt's Mission and I wear it every day as a reminder that my children may be safer because of your efforts.

On behalf of the New Haven County Firefighters Emerald Society Pipes & Drums, congrats to Lynn, Mark, John Bysiewicz and all those connected with the successes of Matt's Mission Fund evnts. As a marching band it is customary for us to walk while playing with people watching us - thus, for Matt's Mission Run, it's just the opposite, we watch the runners while playing. Too bad we didn't have more gigs like this. We ask all of our friends and followers to help support the focus of this organization and stay on the right path to cross the finish line.
