Happiness is a Intelligent Gun Owner, Not A Redneck from Alabama

The Confederate flags were out and the necks were red on Saturday April 20th as an ignorant moron from Alabama( 49th in education, 2nd in Gov't Aid)came to Hartford to rally the faithful and ignorant to "Be the best lawbreaker you can". This man with the brain of a paranoid loser has come to suggest that the only way we can stop the government from taking your guns away is civil disobedience. I mean it worked in 1776, why not today in our modern world. His name is Michael Vanderboegh from Alabama( 47th in graduating high school seniors) and Michael has a little blog where he has his very own interpretation of the 2nd Amendment that he picks and chooses which part of the law to follow. Our ignorant little redneck friend has his other redneck friends all applauding him as he talks, but then again, that's like getting trained seals to catch a ball. I love America. I love it's laws and yes, even the 2nd Amendment. Mr. Redneck from Alabama, no one is taking your guns away and if you feel the need to have 30 rounds on hand, then you must be a terrible shot. How many more weapons does one need? Then there is John Lott, Author of a classic piece of right wing nutty-ness.."More Guns Less Crime." In this book, Mr. Lott has this outstanding "fact" that 98% of defensive gun uses involved only brandishing a weapon. Of course his facts are not backed up by real facts, you know, the ones in the real world and not on Mars. Mr. Lott has even gone so far as to make up an imaginary school student called Mary Rosh who with her false comments, supports him. Now, I'm not saying that guns need to be taken away from our citizens, but there is the need for real gun control when it comes to people like Mr. Lott and Mr. Alabama Redneck. The 2nd Amendment says nothing about 30 rounds or Ar-15's. Last I checked, as law abiding citizen of this great nation, I have yet to see the redcoats bashing down my doors.
