Nathan Eric Shatsoff

Nathan Eric Shatsoff, died peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus after a three year battle with cancer. He was 24 years old.

Nathan was born in Milford, CT and resided in North Haven, CT prior to moving to Hamburg, NJ in 2009. He was founder and president of the non- profit group RELENTLESS AGAINST CANCER. He loved baseball and was an avid player.

Family and friends are invited 11 AM Wednesday, to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871.

Nathan is survived by his parents; Lawrence and Patricia Shatsoff , a sister; Rebecca Shatsoff and fiance' Erik Heinig, a brother; Benjamin Shatsoff, his paternal grandparents; Toby and Irving Clorman, maternal grandparents; Frank and Patricia Melanson, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

James Theodore Baylor, Jr.

James Theodore Baylor, Jr., 87, of North Haven, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at the CT Hospice, Branford. He is survived by the love of his life for the past 25 years, Caroline Marino of North Haven.

Born in Waterbury on January 18, 1924; son of the late James T. Baylor, Sr. and Lucy Bunggard Baylor. James was the General Manager of Montesi Volkswagon of West Haven for many years until his retirement; he served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WW II and was a member of the American Legion of East Haven and the Owenego Beach & Tennis Club.

Father of Gary (Donna) Baylor of Cheshire and Robert (Lisa) Baylor of North Haven. Step-father of Michele Marino and Frank (Doreen) Marino all of East Haven. Grandfather of Christopher, Jonathan and Samantha Baylor, Stephanie and Frank Marino, Jr., Steven and Kevin Marino. Predeceased by his wife Louise Wilcox Baylor and a sister Constance Grantland.

Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 11:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.

John F. Cucurello

John F. Cucurello (Master Sergeant USAF), 59, husband of Laura Giannattasio Cucurello of East Haven passed away October 1, 2011 in the Hospital of St. Raphael.

Father of Paula Cucurello Simone of West Haven, Christen (David) Quijano and Laura Cucurello both of East Haven. Grandfather of Cade Simone and Valentina Quijano. Son of the late John A. and Margaret Anastasio Cucurello. Brother of Margaret Rish of North Haven, Joseph Cucurello of Sarasota, FL and Frank Cucurello of Wallingford.

John was a Master Sergeant with the Air National Guard 103rd Tactical Squadron serving his country for 40 years.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Thursday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Vincent DePaul Church at 11:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 5:00-8:00 PM.
