This week, we searched our local sources to find a deal or two that would save you money during June's National Great Outdoors and national camping month observations, along with free entertainment deals, and more!

1. SPORTS AUTHORITY
Deal:
Get in the spirit of national camping month with big deal discounts on tents and sleeping bags— up to 50% off on select items. Make sure you clip the Sports Authority’s Cash Coupons to save even more on your purchases.

2. MUSIC UNDER THE STARS 2011
Deal:
It just so happens that North Haven’s Music Under the Stars series kicks off during National Great Outdoors month. Go ahead and enjoy the musical stylings of Rich DiPalma under the summer night sky on June 28, 2011 on the town green. Concerts are free of charge, but please donate a non-perishable item.

3. BOYS YOUTH BASKETBALL SUMMER LEAGUE
Deal:
 Boys in grades 5 through 8 can join in pick-up style basketball games, Sunday nights beginning at 5:30 pm, through August 14. Games are played on the courts at G. Carl Veith Memorial Park on Broadway (behind the Citgo).  It’s free to play- no charge! For into or to volunteer: 203-23-6219.
