The exciting announcement of Kate Middleton's pregnancy on Monday was tempered by the news that the Duchess of Cambridge has been hospitalized for severe morning sickness.
Within hours, the media was pulsing with advice and stories from other women who had suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition that has been described as "morning sickness from hell."
There has been speculation as well that her condition could be a sign that she's having twins.
And so begins the incessant scrutiny that little baby Wills or Kate (or both) will live with for the rest of his/her/their natural lives.
