Price of Gas Expected to Continue Climb [POLL]

Prices are going up and up at the pump - does that dictate how you drive?

Gas prices are going up across the country, and on Friday, the prediction was made that consumers could see prices rise "as much as 5-20 cents per gallon by the conclusion of the weekend," according to GasBuddy.com.

In addition to the actual price of the fuel, . According to a __, residents overwhelmingly think the gas tax is too high. Among the comments on that poll was this from reader Charles Baltayan: "No free market driven gas/oil pricing- consumers are at the mercy of speculators who drive the prices up regardless of supply and demand."

What do you think? Does the price of gas affect how you live your life? Do you make an effort to combine errands and trips to save gas, or do you make no adjustments? Take our poll and add your thoughts in the comments.

Just thought I would brighten up your next few days. I will be traveling, on business and some leisure, to France, Spain, Italy and then to South America for several weeks. I will be leaving Friday and sadly will not be able to post until I arrive at my first stop in France I know several of you will miss me as I will miss you. Enjoy yourselves, Till we post again, Don Charles

I didn't think it possible Don, but the Faux News enema has obviously gone to your brain. Too far gone to try to reason with I'm afraid but, carry on. The rest of the world will be none the worse...

Jacobo. Don is always a joy to read with his unique view on topics. Perhaps if you recognized him as a "low information voter" you might better appreciate his comments.

Yooper, You would think that a worldly traveler like Don would have at least one original thought in his head; once in a while. Let me see if he can handle this one: Hey Don, Tell us how the Homeland Security Gestapo treats you on your way out of the country and tell us how much the folks in France, Spain, Italy and South America are paying for their gasoline.

Have a nice trip Mr. Charles. Try not to think about people who argue that increasing exports of oil, when oil is now sold worldwide without reference to location is bad and will not cause other countries to increase their production or that gasoline usage is down in the US by 10% but gasoline prices are up now because other countries buy a hell of alot gas, and are willing to pay more---- or oil companies, despite being stymied by greens , democrats developed new ways of oil extraction because well they are Americans, and the only thing that can keep them down is liberal americans---- no, think "Cheney Bad, the earth is sad"
