Well, you can’t harness the true power of Patch if you don’t create an account. It’s easy and completely free.
Click the Join button on the top right of the home page. Your name will be visible to the public but the other information will not be. You can also join via your Facebook account by clicking the Facebook button on the Join page. Your user profile on Patch will be the same as your Facebook account.
You will receive a confirmation email — click the activate button to confirm your account. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder.
If you are being asked to change your password but you don’t think you have an account, don’t worry. You probably received our newsletter on the old platform. Just type in a password that works for you.
Now you can use all the great tools that Patch offers, plus you’ll receive our customizable morning email newsletter with all the latest headlines, and our breaking news alerts.
You can post quick notes when you just need a bit of information, or an article when you’ve got something more to say. We always love it when you share your photos and videos of happenings around town, and of course we think we have the greatest community calendar ever, thanks to you!
