Fifteen Arrests in North Haven this Week

Police arrest log, 5/13-5/20

The following arrest log was obtained from the North Haven Police Department. Citations do not reflect convictions except where otherwise noted.

  • On May 19, Karl David Traub, 18, of New Haven, CT was arrested for possession of a hallucinogen or more than four ounces of marijuana. Traub has no priors in Connecticut, and was released without bond. A court date was set for June 2.

 

  • On May 17, James J Poulton, 25, of Northford, CT was arrested for evading responsibility. Bond was set in the amount of $500, and a court date scheduled for May 31. Poulton has two prior convictions for larceny in the first and second degree from 2008, and one for probation violation in January 2011.

  • On May 17, Mary Hall, 31, of Branford, CT was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for having weapons in her car. No bond was set, and a court date was scheduled for June 2. Hall has an another upcoming court date in connection with evading responsibility and property damage.

 

  • On May 17, Timothy Wilfong, 22, of New Haven, CT was arrested for home invasion, robbery in the third degree, larceny in the sixth degree, conspiracy, and assault in the third degree. Bond was set in the amount of $200. Wilfong was arraigned the same day as his arrest, and is currently being held in custody. Wilfong is currently facing charges in seven other incidents, including possession of drugs with intent to sell in New Haven, and larceny. Wilfong has been found guilty in three previous cases, one for illegal use of a facsimile firearm and breach of peace in 2006, one for possession with intent to sell in 2008, and one for escape, also in 2008.

  • On May 16, William Franklin, 58, of Wallingford, CT was arrested for larceny in the fourth degree and issuing a bad check. No bond was set, and Franklin was released from custody. His arraignment is scheduled for June 2. Franklin has no priors in CT.

 

  • On May 16, Glenn F Galasso, 27, of North Branford, CT was arrested twice for failure to appear, the first for a motor vehicle incident in December of last year, the second in a matter of unlawful restraint in the first degree. Bond was set in the amount of $5,000. Galasso has been found guilty in five previous cases dating back to a reckless endangerment charge in 2006, and followed by convictions for possession of a controlled substance, and criminal mischief. Galasso, currently being held in custody, will have his next court appearance on June 9. 

 

  • On May 16, Ryan Densmore, 24, of Wallingford, CT was arrested for possession of burglar's tools, criminal trespass in the second degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle without permission, and two counts larceny in the third degree. Bond was set at $10,000, and a court date scheduled for June 2. Densmore has been released from custody on a professional surety. Densmore has three prior convictions in CT, one for illegal operation of a motor vehicle in 2010, one for larceny in the fifth degree and possession of burglar's tools, also in 2010, and one for assault in the third degree in February of this year. 

 

  • On May 16, Giovanni W Fassett, 19, of Hamden, CT was arrested for failure to appear in the second degree. Fassett was charged last November with evading responsibility for property damage and failure to grant right of way on a private road. He has plead not guilty to the charges. 

 

  • On May 15, Wayne L Lynch, 57, of Bridgeport, CT was arrested for criminal mischief in the second degree. Lynch was released without bail on a promise to appear. His next court date is set for May 26. Lynch has been found guilty in two prior matters, conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree in 2004, and failure to appear in the second degree in 2006. 

 

  • On May 14, Mark A McKenna, 55, of Cannonball Road was arrested on two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of threatening. No bond was set, and McKenna was released from custody on a promise to appear. McKenna is currently involved in three other cases, one for creating a public disturbance last December, and two for simple trespass in March. McKenna has been found guilty in five priors, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment in 2004, criminal trespass in 2010, and breach of peace and criminal trespass in 2011. 

 

  • On May 13, Jason Fischer, 26, of Guilford, CT was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, and for breach of peace. No bond was set and Fischer was released from custody on a promise to appear. His next court date in the matter is scheduled for July 7. Fischer is also involved in a second motor vehicle charge stemming from a North Branford arrest in March. 

 

  • On May 13, Jean Dones, 18, of New Haven, CT, Joe Kendrick Cottes-lopez, 19, of New Haven, CT, and Heriberto Soto, 20, of Stratford, CT were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and possession of alcohol. No bond was set, and the three were released from custody on a promise to appear. A court date for the matter has been set for May 26.
