Four North Haven Burglaries Settled

NHPD arrests two in connection to summer robberies.

Two men have been arrested in connection with four forcible break-ins that occurred between June and August of this summer on the western side of North Haven. 

Detective John Wilcox, aided by the Hamden and Cheshire Police Departments, led an investigation that concluded this week with the arrests of Joseph Conte, 30, of North Haven and Adam Franco, 28, of Cheshire.

Franco was charged with four counts of burglary in the third degree and one count each of larceny in the second degree ($5,001-$10,000), larceny in the third degree ($1,001-$5,000), larceny in the fourth degree ($501-$1,000), and larceny in the fifth degree ($250-$500).

Conte was charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, one count larceny in the first degree (over $10,000), and one count conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree.

Both men were held on $35,000 bonds. Their court dates have been scheduled for Meriden Superior Court GA #7.
