Last Suspect Arrested in Counterfeit Prescription Case

Three others arrested over weekend on unrelated charges.

North Haven police arrested Jonathan Finkle, 24, of East Haven last Friday evening after the suspect, alleged to have attempted to use the Target Pharmacy on Universal Drive to fill counterfeit prescriptions in June along with three others, turned himself in at police headquarters.

Upon surrendering to authorities, Finkle was charged with illegally obtaining drugs, conspiracy to obtain drugs, criminal attempt to possess narcotics, forgery second degree and conspiracy to commit forgery in the second degree.

Last month, Brian DiCarlo, 32, of Waterbury, Joseph Pollio, 29, of East Haven, and Christopher DiLungo, 24, of North Branford were arrested and charged with similar counts. A police investigation into the fake prescriptions began after the pharmacy reported that four men had tried to purchase drugs using fraudulent paperwork.
