North Haven Fire: Vehicle Strikes House Sunday Morning
Minor injuries were reported by the driver of the vehicle, which struck a residence along Montowese Avenue.
The following is a press release from the North Haven Fire Department.
A vehicle veered off the road and struck a house on the corner of Montowese Avenue and Rock Road early Sunday morning.
Engine 1 and Emergency 1 were dispatched just after midnight for a reported motor vehicle accident fronting number 177 Montowese Avenue in North Haven.
A late model Ford Focus traveling east on Montowese Avenue veered off of the roadway striking a fence as well as a house located on the corner of Rock Road and Montowese Avenue.
Minor injuries were reported by the single occupant in the vehicle.
One female patient was treated on scene and released by North Haven Fire Department Paramedics.
There was damage to the house and fence and the Fire Marshal’s office was contacted.
No other injuries were reported and no one was home at the residence at the time of the incident.
All fire department units cleared the scene at 00:37 hours.
