North Haven Police Arrests for March 10 to March 20

This information about recent arrests has been provided by the North Haven Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

David Kobuta, 27, of Rock Road in North Haven was charged March 19 with illegal possession and sixth-degree larceny. No bond amount was set and he is scheduled to appear in court April 4. Arresting officer: Maureen O'Keefe.

Michael Medina, 45, of Elridge Street in New Haven was charged March 15 with operation of an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of a license plate, driving with no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond amount was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 28.


Bruce Steiniger, 26, of Wharton Brook Road in Wallingford, was charged March 14 with sixth-degree larceny. A bond amount of $250 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 28. Arresting officer: Frank Castiglione.

James Anthony Plano, 37, of Turner Drive in North Haven, was charged March 11 with failure to keep drugs in its original container, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of illegal sale/distribution/sale of prescription drugs, two counts of a drug factory within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics and illegal possession. A bond amount of $150,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 28. Arresting officer: Jason R. Janosko.

James Michael Camara, 52, of Howard Avenue in Meriden, was charged March 11 with operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence and failure to drive in a proper lane. No bond amount was set and he is schedule to appear in court April 2. Arresting officer: Alan J. Cantele.

Brendan Goldman, 18, of Thompson Street in East Haven, was charged March 10 with evading responsibility, operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence, operating a motor vehicle with unsafe tires and possession of alcohol by a minor on a public street or highway. A total bond amount of $500 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 26. Arresting officer: John J. Gaspar III.
