North Haven Police: Car Break-Ins Peak In The Summer

The police department is encouraging residents to lock their car doors.

It is summer time, which means that car break-ins are on the rise in North Haven, according to the town's police department.

The North Haven Police Department told The North Haven Citizen recently that during the summer, car break-ins are more common than any other time of the year. The department stressed that all residents lock their car doors.

Additionally, the department encouraged residents to remove their GPS systems from their windshields, hide valuables in their car and park in well-lit areas, according to the newspaper.
