Read the latest on crime in North Haven this week.

The following information was taken from North Haven Police Department logs and do not indicate a conviction.

Mischief

A Wallingford man was arrested in North Haven on March 16 at 1:15 a.m. for allegedly committing larceny, police said.

Harold Helland, 44, was charged with one count of fourth-degree mischief, one count of fifth-degree larceny and one count of third-degree criminal trespassing. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 29.

 Larceny

A Wallingford man was arrested on Washington Avenue in North Haven on March 16 at 10:25 a.m. for allegedly committing larceny, police said.

James Vendetto, 52, was charged with one count of sixth-degree larceny and is scheduled to appear in court on March 29.

 Driving Violations

A New Haven man was arrested in North Haven on March 20 at 11 a.m. for allegedly committing multiple driving violations, police said.

Courtney Edwards, 28, was charged with one count of operating while under the influence, one count of operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and revoked license, and two counts of second-degree failure to appear. Bond was set at $20,000 and Edwards was scheduled to appear in court on March 20.

 Fugitive from Justice

An alleged fugitive from New Haven was arrested in North Haven on March 20 at 8 p.m.

Jorge Rayas-Solis, 27, was charged with one count fugitive from justice and is scheduled to appear in court on April 5.

 Robbery

A North Branford man was arrested in North Haven on March 21 at 6:49 p.m.

David Marquis, 32, was charged with one count of sixth-degree larceny, one count of first-degree robbery and one count of threatening. Bond was set at $100,000 and Marquis is scheduled to appear in court on March 22.
