Police: Man Pointed Gun At Employee Following Bathroom Dispute

Police are on the lookout for a man who was furious that he had to use the customer restroom instead of the employee restroom.

A press release from the North Haven Police Department:

On Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 a Hispanic male entered the Sunoco Xtra Mart located at 95 Washington Avenue in North Haven. The male inquired about using the employee restroom but was directed to the customer restroom, which is accessed from the outside of the convenience store. 

The male began to argue with the employee and was told to leave. The male walked to his vehicle and retrieved a handgun. He pointed the gun at the store employee and told the employee to come outside. As police were called the male got into his vehicle and fled the area.

The male is described as a dark skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5’6’’ wearing a blue long sleeve shirt with a black “X” pattern on the front. He had short dark hair and is believed to be in his mid-20s. He fled the scene in a blue Jeep. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident, or any witnesses can call the Investigative Services Division of the North Haven Police Department.
