Police: 'Narcotic Activities' Leads to Arrest of North Haven Man

A joint investigation by the North Haven and Wallingford Police led to the seizure of cocaine, prescription drugs, thousands of dollars in cash and a car found at the man's Turner Drive home, police said.

The following is a press release from the North Haven Police Department.

A joint investigation into narcotic activities by both the North Haven and Wallingford Police Departments led to the issuance of a search and seizure warrant for a residence on Turner Drive in North Haven.

The warrant was executed by both departments, with assistance from North Haven PD narcotic detection K9 "Koda".

The search led to the seizure of 2.8 ounces of Cocaine, over 250 prescription pills, $4000.00 cash and an automobile.   

Thirty-seven-year-old James Plano Jr. was arrested on scene and was charged with Illegal Possession of Narcotics, Possession with Intent to Sell Narcotics, Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs, Possession of Prescription Drugs with Intent to Sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failing to Keep Drugs in Original Container, Possession with Intent to Sell within 1500 feet of a School (2 cts.).

Plano was held on a $100,000 bond and was later arraigned in Meriden Superior Court (GA 7) on 03/12/2013.
