A North Haven business has reportedly has been the victim of scammers fraudulently gaining access to the agency's access codes, according to Connecticut State Police Troop I in Bethany.
North Haven Police, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, are investigating the incident — which involved ATP Corporate Travel in North Haven.
According to state police records, ATP officials reported that they were the victim of a phishing scam over the Internet, after the scammers gained the agency's access codes.
The suspect or suspects then purchased $24,922 worth of airline tickets for five individuals who traveled through Europe over the weekend of Jan. 20, according to state police.
