Police: North Haven Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

Early this morning, a Velero gas station in North Haven was robbed and now police are looking for the suspects.

A press release from the North Haven Police Department:

On Dec. 28 at 12:03 a.m., North Haven Police Officers responded to the Velero gas station / convenience mart at 224 Quinnipiac Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. 

Investigators learned that two male perpetrators had entered the store just after midnight. Male #1 was wearing a black "puffy" style winter jacket, blue jeans and brown hiking boots. This individual pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded the money from the cash register. Male #2 was wearing a black "puffy" style winter jacket with a red zipper.

Both perpetrators were wearing ski masks covering their faces. They were described as being Caucasian males possibly Hispanic, approximately 5'6" - 5'8" tall, slender build.  Both perpetrators fled the store running south on Quinnipiac Avenue.
