UPDATED: Buffalo Wild Wings Robbery Happened Outside

Police say an employee had her purse stolen as she was getting in her car outside the restaurant at about 10:20 this morning.

UPDATE, 3:23p.m.: The North Haven Police Department issued a press release this afternoon on the robbery at Buffalo Wild Wings:

"The North Haven Police Department received a 911 call at approximately 10:23 AM on Monday, June 25, 2012 reporting an armed robbery in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings, 350 Universal Drive North. The caller reported that a Buffalo Wild Wings employee was robbed at gunpoint, while entering her vehicle, by two, as yet unidentified, suspects. The suspects stole the caller's pocketbook and fled from the area in a green colored sedan. Witnesses are asked to contact Detective Mark Iannone at 203-239-5321, ext. 243."


At 10:28 a.m., the received a 911 call reporting a robbery at Buffalo Wild Wings on Universal Drive in North Haven.

Police are still on the scene and no other details have been released at this time. Stay tuned to North Haven Patch for updates. 

This alleged robbery comes on the heels of a robbery at the New Haven location of Buffalo Wild Wings that occurred on June 20. According to police reports by the New Haven Independent, "A man in the middle of a job interview at Buffalo Wild Wings hit upon a quicker way to make some money: Grab cash from the safe and hightail it out of the manager’s office."
