Two Arrested in Car Break-Ins

Police also find cocaine in suspects' possession.

Two men were arrested in North Haven this Monday in connection to two car break-ins on State Street, and one on Universal Drive.

Officer Valdemar Queiroga, following up on a witnesses' report of a yellow pickup truck being driven away from one of the break-ins, arrested Robert Hastings, 34, of North Haven, and Wilfredo Rivera, 33, of New Haven after finding stolen possessions from the three cars and a small quantity of cocaine in the pair's vehicle. 

Both men were charged with three counts of burglary in the third degree, three counts of larceny in the sixth degree, three counts of criminal mischief, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
