Haven't Registered to Vote Yet? There's Still Time

North Haven residents can register to vote from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

 

The final day for voter registration was scheduled for Oct. 30, but Hurricane Sandy put a kink in that plan, forcing Governor Dannel Malloy to push back the deadline to Nov. 1.

In North Haven, residents can head to the Registrar of Voters' office at Town Hall frim 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. if they have not yet registered to vote.

Here are the requirements in order to register in North Haven: you must be: a U.S. Citizen, a resident of North Haven and be at least 17 years old (must turn 18 before primary/Election day). Voter registration cards can be downloaded from the town website

  • District 1 – Mildred Wakeley Recreation Center – 5 Linsley Street
  • District 2 – Montowese Elementary School – 145 Fitch Street
  • District 3 & District 3–11 (State Senate District 11) – Ridge Road Elementary School – 1341 Ridge Road
  • District 4 – Green Acres Elementary School – 146 Upper State Street
  • District 5 - Clintonville Elementary School – 456 Clintonville Road
