Rosa DeLauro, the Democratic incumbent for the 3rd Congressional District, has raised 35 times the money that her Republican opponent Wayne Winsley has collected.
A large portion of DeLauro's donations came out from outside Connecticut, however, while Winsley's is entirely from Connecticut residents.
In North Haven, Winsley has received no financial support. DeLauro has received $4,300 from North Haven residents, including just over $2,000 from Andrew F. Anastasio Jr., the owner of restaurant.
DeLauro's reporting to the Federal Election Commission is for money raised between Jan. 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012. Winsley's fundraising went from Sept. 9, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
