Linda McMahon’s Plans Run Through North Haven

The U.S. Senate hopeful works out of North Haven for the upcoming election.

Former wrestling executive Linda McMahon’s plan to win a seat in Washington D.C starts in North Haven. She has team of volunteers helping at campaign headquarters in North Haven for the November election.

The Associated Press describes the headquarters on 556 Washington Ave. as “austere” compared to the West Hartford headquarters of her failed 2011 run for Senate.

In her austere campaign headquarters in North Haven, a suite of old offices with mostly secondhand furniture, employees work the phones to seek out volunteers and gauge support for the upcoming Republican state convention and primary.

has her beating former congressman Christopher Shays by a 51-42 percent margin in the Republican primary. However, Shays fares better against the Democratic candidates.
