North Haven Voter Registration Sessions Scheduled

Important Voter Registration Dates for the November 6, 2012 Presidential Election

Saturday, October 20, 2012:  Special Saturday Voter Registration Session: 10 a.m. – 2 p. m, Town Hall, ROV Office 2nd Floor. Please bring ID

Tuesday, October 23, 2012:  Registration by MAIL – DEADLINE.

Mailed voter registration applications must be postmarked or received by this date for the applicant to be entitled to vote in the November 6th Presidential Election.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012:  Last day to register IN-Person* Special Voter Registration Session: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.  Town Hall, ROV Office, 2nd Floor. Applicants must appear IN–PERSON; please bring ID

Monday, November 5, 2012:  Limited Registration Session

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Town Hall, ROV Office, 2nd Floor. Please bring ID.

*This is a voter registration session limited to those applicants whose qualifications as to age (18), U.S. citizenship, or town residence was attained since October 30, 2012 (deadline for in-person voter registration).

To register to vote in North Haven

You must meet the following requirements:

  • be a U.S. Citizen,

  • a resident of North Haven,

  • and be at least 17 years old (must turn 18 before primary/Election day)

Any resident who meets the above requirements may register to vote any weekday in person at either the ROV Office or the Town Clerk Office in Town Hall.  In addition, voter registration cards can be downloaded from the town website (see below). Once completed, these forms may be mailed or delivered in person to the Registrars’ Office or dropped off at Town Hall reception desk.
