The bills all have the capacity to affect job creation, small business growth and economic stability in Connecticut.

Some of the bills assessed include the Governor’s budget (SB 1239), the captive audience bill (HB 5460) and a controversial campaign finance reform bill (HB 5556).

“As a small business owner I know first-hand how difficult it is to be successful in a state with escalating energy costs, excessive fees and imposing business taxes,” Rep. Yaccarino said. “I will continue to work toward reducing these burdens on Connecticut businesses because I firmly believe small business is the key to job growth, economic recovery and future state prosperity.”

In addition to his legislative work in Hartford, Rep. Yaccarino has been promoting private sector job growth and alerting local businesses about the financial assistance available to them through last October’s bipartisan jobs bill.

The bill, which he supported, created programs to help expand and financially support businesses adding new employees, updating equipment and providing better training.
