Representative Yaccarino Brings CHOICES to North Haven Seniors
Informational session on health care scheduled for February 25 at the North Haven senior center.
State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) has announced that Connecticut’s program for Health insurance assistance, Outreach, Information and referral, Counseling, Eligibility Screening (CHOICES) will be holding an informational session on February 25 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the North Haven senior center.
Organized by the State of Connecticut’s Department of Social Services, the Area Agencies on Aging, and the Center for Medicare Advocacy, the program aims to provide persons sixty and over, and those with disabilities, with information regarding Medicare, Medicaid, ConnPACE, and prescription drug plans.
“With all the changes regarding benefits for our seniors, it’s important to be able to make informed decisions regarding care,” Yaccarino said via press release. “This forum will provide our seniors with the information needed to make those decisions and I’m happy I was able to bring a representative from the CHOICES program to North Haven.”
